Hell yeah!! Hell, why am I dating black men? No no no I kid, (about the whole black men part). But I'm soo ready for my "something new" lol. In high school i used to only date men of the Caucasian persuasion. Then i went to a hbu (historically black college) and that was the end of that! Only the brothas for moi! However, now that I'm (much) older and (a bit) wiser, I realize that all of that stuff (skin color, complexion, stature) is soooo irrelevant. Now of course you cant help what your attracted to, but resigning yourself to only dating a person with a particular physical trait is so close minded . People are more than skin color or a number on a scale or feet and inches! Some say its the physical the attracts and the inner that maintains...... but think that that is an elementary mentality. You like it cause its shiny???? No! Whats its function?? We , as grownups, should choose the individual that functions best for us. Yes the outward appearance is what catches the eye but the inward (ie.confidence and overall character) is what should truly attract us. I'm at a point now that you have to do a hell of a lot more than catch my eye before i even attempt to get to know you! Ive wasted a lot of time dating dudes who fulfill my physical requirements. Nowadays if a dude doesn't meet my physical requirements i will still get know him. Who knows, he might meet my spiritual or my intellectual requirements and those trump the physical every time! So who gives a damn if hes white, Asian or a bit chunky.....he might be the one! So come on ladies lets get our nose out the air and give a guy a chance. OK so he doesn't have to be the future Mr. Nice, but hey it never hurts to make new friends!! And like my friend the good girl says "meals taste best when they're free" lol I kid .....

I'm not saying chat up every dude you see! Just that there is no need to knock a guy down who approaches you upon first glance because hes "not you type" Talk to him FIRST then determine if hes not your type!!!!!! Geez!!
It is true that meals do taste great when they are fee but as human beings we eat with our eyes first. I know a woman with color is the tastiest treat on this planet. I feel that I am very open minded but, I know that me and becky may not be compatible because we did not grow up in the same situation, or the same world for that matter. With that being said, that does not mean that I wouldn't talk and get to know her and hopefully enjoy her friendship. Who knows, something might actually spark up. But in my mind it makes perfect sense to be, to lust, to seek that which is you. (flesh of my flesh, blood of my blood) Plus I need a big phat juicy booty on my woman. lol.-Dre'
